Psalm 1:1-3 ~ 1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.
When you live by the principles in God’s Word, and love Him with ALL your heart, soul, mind and strength, when you put God’s word FIRST, His Word will come to pass in your life. This includes the promise of prosperity.
The Bible says about King Uzziah:
2Chronicles 26:5 ~ He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had
understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him prosper.
Prosperity is a controversial message in the body of Christ, and it shouldn’t be. People get bent out of shape because they have seen so much abuse and that is understandable. I know scores of ministers that will not teach on biblical finances, let alone prosperity, because it is such a touchy topic.
Prosperity is important. If God wants you to prosper, wouldn’t you at least submit to God’s will? If you don’t believe in prosperity, you probably won’t be bothered with it, that is for sure. And if you DON’T believe it, that means that you have NOT studied it out for yourself. If you approach this topic of study with an attitude of wanting to know the truth, not to prove it right or wrong, there is NO WAY you can come to any other conclusion. There is just too much scripture not to.
