What We Believe

          If you are looking for a denomination we identify with to qualify or disqualify our beliefs, you won’t find it here. At TruthPressure we believe it is time for the Church to quit squabbling over doctrinal differences and cultural practices and start pursuing the unity of the faith and peace with our brethren. Our ministry crosses many denominational barriers to bring a message of reconciliation and hope to the body of Christ.

           We understand that we don’t know it all. We all know in part and desperately need fellowship with other parts that don’t think or believe like we do. Division by denomination was never God’s plan, and our goal is to bring unity and peace to the body of Christ by embracing the love of God and having a passion for pursuing the truth. 

We are believers and followers of Christ to the best of our ability.

WE BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE.

          The Bible is God’s Word to all people. It was written by men of God under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is truth and completely relevant to our lives today. All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16

 

WE BELIEVE IN THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST.

          Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, was the word of God made flesh and lived a sinless life. He died on the cross for all mankind and rose 3 days later in power and glory.

 

 

WE BELIEVE SALVATION IS AVAILABLE FOR ALL MANKIND.

          If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.
​          For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Romans 10: 9-10

 

 

WE BELIEVE IN LIVING LIKE JESUS.

          He that says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked.   1 John 2:6

WE BELIEVE THAT DEATH AND SICKNESS ARE THE WORK OF SATAN AND A PRODUCT OF THE FALL OF MAN.

​          The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.   John 10:10

WE BELIEVE IN THE LOVE OF GOD.

          God is love; and he that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him.  1 John 4:16

          ​Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.  1 John 4:7

 

 

WE BELIEVE IN LETTING THE MIND OF CHRIST TAKE OVER IN OUR LIVES. “WE CAN DO NOTHING OF OURSELVES”

          Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  Philippians 2:3-5

I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. John 5:30

WE BELIEVE IN HEALING AND THE PRACTICE OF PRAYING FOR THE SICK, LAYING HANDS ON THE SICK, AND BELIEVING THEY WILL RECOVER.

          And these signs shall follow them that believe: they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.   Mark 16:17

WE BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS COMING BACK!

          To return for a glorious church!  God is coming for His Church, not a country, not a city, but His holy people all over the earth, His bride. ​That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.   Ephesians 5:27

WE BELIEVE THE GOSPEL IS AMAZING!

          God paid an amazing price to restore man to his original value and purpose. He gave His only begotten Son as a sacrifice so that relationship could be restored to mankind. He paid the price to make us righteous, holy, and acceptable in His sight so we could approach our creator without guilt, condemnation, and shame. As we embrace this amazing relationship, His grace helps us become everything He paid for.
