~ Wisdom Confessions ~

1wis2

Wisdom only comes from one place, the only wise God.

Jude 1:25 ~  To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

Proverbs 4:7 ~ Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting get  understanding.

          Confession should not be a mindless reciting of scripture, but an intimate part of your relationship with God. When confession is approached properly it will enhance your 1wis1relationship with your Father and enrich your prayer life beyond measure. Confession should be lifted up to God as an offering, a statement of faith that lets God know that you agree with what He says about you, no matter the situation or circumstance. Confession aligns you with God’s thoughts, sets your heart in agreement with His plans, and affirms your identity as His child.

Here are some faith confessions for WISDOM and the scriptures they are based on:

Proverbs 3:5-6 ~ Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

CONFESSION ~ I trust in you Lord with all my heart, and I do not lean on my own understanding. In all my ways I acknowledge you Lord, and I thank you for directing my path.

Romans 12:2 ~ 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of  your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect,  will of God.

CONFESSION ~ I am not conformed to this world, but I am continually transformed by renewing of my mind to your word Lord, that I may prove what is your good, and acceptable, and perfect will.

Psalm 138:8 ~ 8 The LORD will perfect that which concerns me: thy mercy, O LORD, endures for ever: forsake not the works of Your own hands.

CONFESSION ~ Lord, because I am your child, and because of your great mercy, you watch after me and perfect that which concerns me, you will not forsake me, your mercy O Lord endures forever.

John 14:26 ~ 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

CONFESSION ~ Father I thank you that you have sent the Holy Ghost to teach me all things, and bring all things that you have said to my remembrance.

James 1:5 ~ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

CONFESSION ~ Lord I ask you for wisdom. I ask in faith and I believe that I receive it. Thank you lord for the wisdom that you have given me.

John 16:13 ~ However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

CONFESSION ~ I thank you Lord for the Holy Spirit that dwells in me, guiding me into all of your truth and showing me things to come.

Colossians 1:9 ~ For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

CONFESSION ~ Father, I declare that I have perfect knowledge of what to do in every situation and I am filled with all wisdom, spiritual understanding and the knowledge of Your will for me.

James 1:2-8 ~  My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

CONFESSION ~  I count it all joy when I fall into various trials, knowing that the trying of my faith works patience. I let patience have its perfect work so that I may be mature, and complete, lacking nothing. Father, I ask You for wisdom to walk out the plans and purposes that You have for my life. I ask You for wisdom and understanding to walk in the authority and power that is mine in Christ. I ask in faith, not wavering or doubting. I am single minded in this pursuit and I am stable in all my ways.

~ How to Confess God’s Word ~

confess2

           Confession of God’s word can be a tremendous help in establishing you in truth, building your faith, and moving you forward in your spiritual growth. God’s written word contains the building blocks of  faith. Speaking His word is the mortar that holds it all together, solidifying our identity in Him, raising us up into a holy and righteous temple, a fit dwelling place for the Holy Spirit. Speaking God’s word should be a priority in every Christians life, unfortunately for most, it is not.

          Confession should not be a mindless reciting of scripture, but an intimate part of your relationship with God. When confession is approached properly it will enhance your relationship with your Father and enrich your prayer life beyond measure. Confession should be lifted up to God as an offering, a statement of faith that lets God know that you agree with what He says about you, no matter the situation or circumstance. Confession aligns you with God’s thoughts, sets your heart in agreement with His plans, and affirms your identity as His child.

Isaiah 55:11 says this: “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

          Confession is prayerfully returning God’s word to Him, acknowledging your agreement with His will, and inviting Him to bring His word to pass in your life. It activates angels that hearken to the spoken word and puts them to work, bringing God’s word to pass in your life. (Psalm 103:20) If you could only see what happens in the spirit realm when you speak God’s word in faith, you would never go another day without doing it.

           The following are some examples of how I prayerfully confess God’s word. They are scriptures that speak to my heart. passages that the Holy Spirit has illuminated to me as being important in my life. I recommend reading the scriptures in your favorite translation and notice how the confession has been personalized for a conversation with God in relationship. Be mindful of scriptures that jump out to you, that have an unction on them, and personalize your own confessions.

Be blessed.

Understanding the power of words.

untitled.pngsnhet

          There are many teachings floating around about the power of words as defined by the Bible, but let’s look at it from the point of science, in conjunction with the Bible. Science is not in disagreement with God, on the contrary, science is just man’s way of figuring out how God does things. If we understand this going in, we will see that science and God must always agree. If they do not, then our science is incorrect, or our understanding of God is flawed.

          Let’s start with some scriptures that stress the amazing power that words produce:

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

   …Death and life are produced by our words.

Matthew 12:36-37 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

You will be justified or condemned by our words.

Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

  …Words contain creative power.

Proverbs 13:3 He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.

…We are to steward our words carefully.

James 3:2-6   For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.

…Words set the course and nature or your life.

          These are just a few scriptures that stress the power and importance of words, there are many, many more. The topic is replete throughout the Bible.

wrthh

          Words are the most powerful force available to humanity. They carry immeasurable significance and yet we have a shallow understanding of how they work, and how they affect the quality of our lives, and the lives of those around us. To find out at what words are, and how they function, first we must define exactly what a word is.

          This is my definition from a literal standpoint, in the light God’s word:

A word is a verbal or written communication that carries ideas, creating thoughts and images. The very nature of the word shapes the image that it produces.”

          If I say; “Black Labrador Retriever with a red collar,” I just put a specific image in your head. You took what I said, you processed it through your memory and experience, and it produced a specific thought/picture in your mind. It produced an image!

          We must have a preconceived image already present in our thinking for images to form. Unfortunately, we have so much memory and experience of our fallen, carnal nature that these images tend to dominate our thought life and make up our minds in advance that this is who we really are. Jesus didn’t die for us to remain the same and someday go to heaven, He died so that we could be transformed into His IMAGE, so that God’s original purpose for mankind could be restored.

Romans 8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Hebrews 1:3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

          We see in this verse that Jesus was not only the express image of God, but He upheld all things by His word. This means that, among other things, the image of the Father was upheld in Him by the power of His words.

Rotating-Words-with-CSS-Animations

          The point of this teaching is to help you be conformed into what God has created you to be. What you say about yourself is important. Are you saying what God has said about you, or letting life speak louder than truth? What is your “self-image?”?Does it look like the sum of your life experience to this point, or does it look like Jesus? If you don’t see yourself as a son or daughter of God in your heart, you have the ability to change that image through the power of your words.

~ Walking in heavy F.O.G. (Favor Of God) ~

Psalm 5:12 ~ For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What is Favor? How do I get some? How do I know it when I have it?
It is available to everyone in the body of Christ, but not all Christians experience it. Favor is not automatic, we need to learn to experience heavy F.O.G. (Favor Of God) in our lives.
Romans 8:31 ~  What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Having the favor of God in your life means that GOD IS FOR YOU! Favor makes a difference! It helps you, sustains you; it means you are “preferred,” and it’s noticeable! Webster’s Dictionary (1828 edition) defines favor as: “an advantage for success.
Have you ever heard the old saying: “If you see a turtle on a fence post there is one thing you know for sure,
  He had some help!”
The point is; favor gets you to places you couldn’t get to by yourself. The favor of God takes you places that you could not go in your own strength and your own abilities.
Our culture, and our government try to equalize everyone—everything “politically correct,” everybody’s a winner, we don’t keep score…. The reality is, everybody is not a winner. That doesn’t work in the real world. We all have different capacities, different abilities, different strengths and gifts. Yes, we all have the same created value. We all bear the same price tag; The blood of Jesus. However, we see in scripture that there are different levels of rank, authority, and capacity.(Read the Parable of the Talents, Matthew 25 )
Favor is a major theme throughout the Bible. It goes along with grace, mercy, peace, etc. We see favor in the lives of Moses, Noah, Abraham, David, Joseph, Mary and Jesus, and many others.
There is a way for us to find favor with God and with men:
 Proverbs 3 ~  1 My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands;  2For length of days and long life and peace they will add to you. 3Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, 4And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.
Many Christians don’t experience the Favor of God because they don’t esteem the Word of God properly, they don’t put it first place and they don’t make it final authority in their lives. Being a person committed and submitted to the Word of God is THE quickest way experience favor. Not to mention all the other benefits like spiritual strength, growth, wisdom, understanding, etc.
There are two brands of favor that comes from God: unmerited (we don’t deserve it and we can’t earn it) and merited (we qualify for it). As you cooperate with God, He will put favor on you! And trustme, you don’t want to go bumping along in this life without the favot of God on you.
Psalm 5:12  ~ “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.”
To “surround” means “to encircle,” “encompass,” or “protect.” The favor of God will protect and preserve you. We need the favor of God to surround us as a shield!
 Look at what God’s favor did for Israel when He delivered them out of Egypt;
Exodus 3:20-2220 So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst; and after that he will let you go. 21 And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed. 22 But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, namely, of her who dwells near her house, articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons and on your daughters. So you shall plunder the Egyptians.”
They exited with silver, gold and cloths—loaded up!—because God gave them favor with the Egyptians, their enemies, the ones who enslaved them!
When you have heavy F.O.G. (Favor of God) in your life, you will never go away empty-handed (at a job interview, at the store, on a sales call, as you travel, in a difficulty, etc.).
Psalm 41:11 ~ (AMP) says, “By this I know that You favor and delight in me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.”
Your enemy is not always a person; it may be a situation, a symptom, a diagnosis, but when you have the favor of God in your life, it means the enemy will not triumph over you!
If favor seems missing from your life, you need to check on it! If you are living without favor, or if you are assuming you have no favor, you’re not looking for favor, or you’re not cooperating with God. If that is the case then you are making it is easy for the enemy to keep you down and hold you back.
Favor is rooted in God’s grace. Everything that God has promised, prepared or provided is contained in His grace—salvation, peace, provision, and favor….
Favor is contained in the grace of God. Favor is divine influence that leads you to success. God will give you unmerited favor, but there’s a merited favor that you qualify for as you cooperate with God. By faith you release the favor that grace contains.
 Daniel 1:9 ~ Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs.
Daniel had been conquered and taken captive, but he did not fret, complain, get depressed or compromise. He made godly choices based on God’s Word. God gave Daniel favor with his captors, and Daniel ended up in a better place! He received promotion, preservation, restoration and increase because of the favor of God that got him through.
The favor of God will not only get you through but it will get you ahead. Whether it’s promotion, preservation, restoration or increase, favor will find you!
You will find repeatedly in Scripture people who “found favor.” To “find” something, you have to “look” for it. Part of looking for something means that you are expecting it. Look for favor, expect it, and cooperate with God and you will experience heavy F.O.G. in your life.
~ What Is Your Testimony? ~
Revelation 12:11 ~ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
How do we overcome? Part of the way we overcome is by our testimony. This is not just limited to the story of how you came to a relationship with Jesus Christ, in fact it is more about what you are TESTIFYING on a DAILY BASIS.
Do you testify about your illness and how you never have enough, or are you “calling those things that be not as though they were.” (Like God does … like Abraham did, Romans 4:17 ) and declaring the promises of God in the face of your adversity?
Search this site and find the biblical confessions that address your concerns. They are all organized and printable for your convenience. Begin speaking the promises of God every day and TESTIFY of what God is saying about you.
Things are WON in the spirit realm before you see them in the natural realm. Use the Sword of the Spirit and FIGHT for what is rightfully yours! WIN IT IN THE SPIRIT, THEN EXPECT IT IN THE NATURAL!
~ Faith Confessions For Your Children ~
Children are a heritage from the Lord. God says they are like arrows in the hand of a warrior. What a powerful statement!
~ Psalm 127:3-5 ~ 3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. 5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate.
We have a responsibility to raise up our children in a way that they become our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Our children have a will of their own. Sometimes that will can be very strong. Normally, your faith cannot override another persons will if they refuse to agree with you in faith, however your children are under your covering and you DO have spiritual authority over them wether they are grown up and running from God or being raised in your home as a child.
God has some things to say about your kids. Promises that are eternal and available, but you must obtain them by faith. Speaking HIS words over their life will build your faith for these promises and help shape and mold them into what He intended them to be.
Like “arrows in the hand of a warrior,” you can launch them into adulthood with confidence that they will hit their mark, find their place, and be an effective, productive brother or sister in Christ.
SAY THIS ~ All of my children are taught of the Lord, and great is their peace. ~ Isaiah 54:13 ~
SAY THIS ~ I am blessed because I fear the Lord and delight greatly in His commandments. My descendants will be mighty on the earth and be blessed. Wealth and riches are in my house and my righteousness endures forever. I am gracious and full of compassion. I guide my affairs with discretion. I will never be shaken. I am not afraid of evil tidings. My heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.          ~ Psalm 112:2-4 ~
~Building A Stronghold Of Faith~
~ Mark 11:23 ~ For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Just because you’ve tried faith confessions for a few weeks and didn’t see any results, doesn’t mean that nothing is taking place.
You released creative power the first time you spoke the word, the creative power that builds faith in the human spirit, the power  to establish a mighty stronghold of faith in your own heart.
Before you see any manifestations in the physical realm, you must first get the word established in your heart. The heart is the first place that you will notice results from confessing truth. Furthermore, things are always won in the spirit before they are seen in the natural. Gods Words are SPIRIT and LIFE. When you speak His Word into any situation you are speaking to the spirit realm and giving life to the situation you are speaking to and giving life to the faith in your heart.
If you make a decision to confess God’s word consistently, and not just “try it” for a few days or a few weeks, you will see God’s power begin to remove the mountains in your life. To establish truth in your life, you have to keep after it, no matter what you see, and no matter what your situation looks like.
     Consistent confession produces the  stronghold of faith required to move your mountains.
